Paya Salesforce Integration

A Los Angeles based National Public Radio (NPR) member station had close to 20,000 members whose monthly payments were processed through Paya, and they needed a solution to manage the members and the payment processing through Salesforce. The first place we looked was AppExchange, as they already use Chargent to process payments with a different gateway, Cybersource, but none of the AppExchange apps provided integration with Paya.

With no pre-built solutions available, we used Paya’s Direct API to build a custom integration, to process payments directly from Salesforce, and give the users the tools they need to charge, refund, and manage all payments without leaving Salesforce. What used to take weekly manual processing and data migration is now an automated process that runs daily in Salesforce, saving users time and eliminating errors associated with manual data entry.
